American actress Allison Brooks Janney was born on the 19th of November 1959. In her nearly more than three decades, Allison Brooks Janney has received recognition for both stage and film appearances. Also, there were nominations of two Tony Awards. Janney was born in Boston and grew up in Dayton (Ohio). She was awarded a scholarship to learn in The Royal Academy of Dramatic Art after she graduated from Kenyon College. Janney debuted on television on television in the year 1999. She was C. J. Cregg in NBC's political program The West Wing from 1999-2006 which earned her four Primetime Emmy Awards. For her role in"Masters of Sex," a Showtime Drama Masters of Sex, Margaret Scully, Janney won the Primetime Emmy Award 2014 for Outstanding Guest Actress In the Drama Series. Janney received nominations at least six times for Primetime Emmy Awards and twice was awarded the Outstanding Supporting Actress Comedy Series.
